Did the M818's come with other engines

I was looking at some M818's and noticed one had the air filter on the passenger side of the truck and the engine looked different. Did any of them come with another engine besides the Cummins NHC-250?

As far as I know, I have read and seen no, but there have been several that have been upgrade to 400 turbos after they where de-mil. Or you can turbo charge the NA 250 and make even more power out of that engine.

The trucks with the air filter on the passenger side are the M39 series trucks. They are multifuel 5-tons (older ones are gassers)

The M818 is not the same as an M52 chassis.

Yes, they made a Mack powered M52.

Warthog thanks. I believe it is a multifuel with a turbo, it looks like my deuce engine. Thanks for the links.

Engines are M52 Continental 6602 gasser, M52A1 Mack, and M52A2 MultiFuel.
