Differences in clutches, gasser and multi

hey guys, i was wondering if the clutch disck and pressure plate that fits a multifuel truck will work on a gasser truck with OA331 and a 3052 tranny

would the pressure plates bolt up with the same pattern???

Nope! Gasser plate for 12" disk has a bolt pattern of 6 (paired @ 3.5" distance) on 13.5" while the stock MF clutch (13" disk) has 4 pair, also spaced 3.5", but on a 14.5" bolt circle.

Not saying it can't be fit: friction surface of the flat gasser flywheel is 15"net so it could be redrilled to accept the MF pressure plate. Also, mounting height of both plates is more or less the same and depht measured from FW surface to transm. mounting surface is the same for both engines: 60mm, adapter ring included.

Not clear what the goal is, though. A sound 12"clutch should be sufficient for the gasser IMO...(!?)

thanks for the info. a deffinite answer like yours is what i was lookin for. a friend of mine was loooking for a clutch for his gasser but so far is having a hard time findin one and was wondering if the MF clutch was the same.
