For the opening of the new dinosaur exhibit and IMAX Dome Theatre film MOSI has asked us to exhibit our "monster" rigs . . . . . right on the front entry plaza of the museum.
Details to follow . . . but for now save June 28, mid morning to mid afternoon. . . . . . . followed by the poker tournament at MOSI to benefit TBSAR.
RTI competition, trophies, museum admission specials, radio remote, brontosaurus* burgers, you know, the usual.
* I, of course, would be remiss if I did not point out that there really never was such an animal as a brontosaurus. As it turned out the discovering paleontologist (Marsh) mix-matched two different creatures : the skull of a camarasaurus and the body of an apatosaurs. It was sorted out some time afterwards - but not before entrenching itself erroneously into the popular culture.
