Donaldson P527750 wing nut

Procured new P527750 and wing nut threads are course. My 2007 M1088A1 has fine threads on the air cleaner housing shaft. New filter wing nut rides over shaft and will not secure. Anyone seen this before.

C7 is a much larger filter than 3126. Different housing.

I have the correct A1 TM and it states P527750 for
both C7 and 3126 ATAAC engines. Image is a unsuccessful attempt to seat new element.

C7 intake is definitely larger intake with a larger filter. I know from personal experience.
