Where can I get doors and a windshield for a doorless MTVR? The truck has the windshield frame but no glass in in.

Anyone make doors and have glass made for a reasonable cost?

Obviously you will read more about the missing doors - but I offer you the best of luck with that. Or maybe you can pull out a few thousand bucks (each) out of your wallet. I sure wish somebody would come across the warehouse that has all of the original doors just sitting there waiting to be discovered.

The windshield is something that you can replace with good safety glass. Binswanger Glass has cut a lot of safety glass with rounded corners for me over the years. OR if you want to do it yourself, trace the window shape on some cardboard with a fat marker. You need it to be cut about a quarter inch smaller than the line that you made... Also have to find the "locking rubber" that holds the glass in the frame. And the tool to install the locking rubber in place...

I have a set of doors I would sell. But I doubt you would consider the price reasonable. From what I have heard (from the guy I bought the doors from), back when the trucks were up armored he SCRAPPED containers full of doors.... I don't think there will be any availability of doors.

As mullaney said, just get the glass cut locally.

Well that sucks but I guess Im not surprised. Nothing is straight forward. Guess Im making a set of doors... with power windows.
.
Well... If you can figure out how to build doors without going broke, there are quite a few folks who need doors for the MK23. That same bunch of people also need tops to keep out the weather as well.

I've got the same issue, mine was missing all of the reducible pieces. I found a complete windshield and top, but guess I'll be making everything else from scratch on the plasma table when it gets delivered.

Is your truck a runner? Mine was not, water was full in the intake tube to withing 2 inches of the turbo inlet. I thought the rings were seized... but after dropping the pan I found 2 broken liners (3/4) causing the pistons to bind at BDC. Parts will be here tomorow for that issue.

Yes sir, mine is a runner. It came with a functional cab with doors that operate and windows that raise and lower. I was fortunate and it came out for a trip across the auction block more than a year ago. I was the second owner and the guy I got it from is a first class wrench turner. She was turned up a bit and the muffler was replaced.

Hard to imagine, but compared to my other trucks - this one is a hotrod!

I need to get my MK30 flashed to 505hp. It runs and tows great stock but the reflash makes a huge difference.
