Well I will first say I did a good amount of searching and couldn't really find the answer. Basically I have a 85 m1009, has a custom driveshaft from a 70's caddy for the double slip yolk to help with angle. But I am also wanting to haev a spare driveshaft, the salvage yard only has gas k5's, my question is will one from them work. I don't have my current shaft together as it's at the shop being rebuilt(over a month wait currently). Just wondering if one would work from a gas model and what would be I assume a 700r4. I did find somewhere one person said the length was 46.6693". Thanks guys
Edit found some info hopefully it is correct found this thread
