Hello,

Maybe mine is just stuck but I can't find any videos or info on how to disassemble the driveshaft itself. The grease seal on the telescoping spline of the driveshaft looks beat to $h**. I ordered a new one and have the driveshaft off the truck but cannot figure out how to pull the two halves of it apart. I tried giving it a quick running slide but it seems to lock up on something. I'm not seeing any bolts to remove unless they are caked in paint. Also I can't find any parts breakdowns for it.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

The slip yoke seal? It will spin off. Some just snap off. There is suction force on the splines into the slip yoke. Lock the tube shaft in the Vice and get to hitting the slip yoke.
