ive heard of some of you removing the final drive shaft to the rear axle. is there any advantage to this (pro or con). i have my front shaft removed as we do mostly street driving. thanks

my rear shaft is out, i had no trouble on the SS ga. rally trail ride, my front was engaged (air turned on), i did find out at the 06 SS ga. rally trail ride that if the front is turned off you can get stuck REAL easy :oops:

the idea behind taking out the rear drive shaft is to keep the two axles from fighting each other because of different size tires and cornering.

to bad our trucks don't have a power divider

this is a major benefit when you are driving on paved surfaces where there is not enough slip to keep the rear tandem from binding up, but also has down falls, I'm sure that westech will chime in with his fun experience.
