I stumbled across some interesting information on a project the US Army Mobility Command did back in the late 1960’s regarding an all electric M37 using a Fuel Cell. The demonstration project was a success, but at the time fuel cell technology was still in it’s infancy. I have attached the report that was completed on the experiment. It has a lot of very good perfomance information in it. The big draw back at the time was the very toxic nature of the fuel being used. If this project was done today it certainly would use different and non-toxic fuels.

The test vehicle was identified as FCV-X-1.
