Looking to paint the frame on my truck. There are some small spots of rust and looking to freshen up the whole thing. Any suggestions?
Looking for a matte/satin finish.
Any past experience?

GM has been using a thixotropic gelled calcium sulfonate coating on their vehicles for time now. It's supposed to perform better than e-coat and is self healing. It can also be used on marginally prepared surfaces. The price is reasonable.

I sometimes use Rust-Oleum Low Gloss Black Farm and Implement Paint on the underside of HMMWVs. It is easy to spray and has a nice satin finish, very durable.
