Does anyone have a source for the tank sending unit mine appears to have died on me. Gauge pins past empty when main switch is turned on.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
All my LMTV fuel gauges have red low.. At empty there was still about 15 gallons left.Do military fuel gauges ever work? I trust them as much as I trust politicians, either way.
Yes I agree. Same with mine. I call it "reserve". Gets me least 4 more miles closer to the gas station HAHAHA! I carry a stick also to check. All my LMTV fuel gauges have red low.. At empty there was still about 15 gallons left.
What capacitance value does it have (10-180 or 240/33 ohm)? For anyone looking here's an option for a new sending unit. I got the 15" version and it bolted right in. Only thing I had to do was solder on the connector. They do make a shrouded version like the original but I went with this one because it was available. I bought mine off Amazon but it looks like this place sells them too. http://www.duskyonline.com/WEMA-p-fuel-senders-withdraws.html#prod-chart
