I have read all, I think, threads regarding fuel injectors on this forum. It is my feeling that the injectors in my Blazer could use a rebuil. I understand that they are not too difficult to R&R; but I also have read that they can be easily rebuilt- though not easily tested by a DIY'er.

Is there a good place to get a rebuild "KIT"? What type of injector would I have (be rebuilding)?

For the price, it's hard to beat a "professionally rebuilt" set. I got mine for roughly $150 after core refund. They were rebuilt Bosch injectors.

If you do them yourself your pop pressures will be all over the board. IMO, get a set of the larger nozles and have a shop rebiuld them.

You should expect to pay about 350$ for a set of quality reman Squirts. Beware of "new" bosch injs on ebay. They are crap made in India. go to a trusted local rebuilder and ask if they use German made bosch tips. Anything else is garbage. I know a couple people who bought "good deal NOS" bosch ones on ebay and it cost one guy his motor. You can't rebuild your own without the proper test equipment. I have a Kent Moore pop tester. What I don't have yet is the source for the shims to set pressures and a place to get German tips.

Ah, thanks! Ya, I wrote it down on my card, but forgot to write down that is where you got them from. Sorry, my fault. I have never been known for my outstanding note taking ability, LOL!

I hear you Kipman, just worried about no help around. I am THINKING about pulling the injectors off of Knocky and putting them in PITA while I rebuild them. I hate to do that, but PITA is my DD and that's the only way I can think of. I'm just worried about messing them up or getting a spec of dirt in it and all my effort wasted. I guess I'm just not setup to be doing that sort of stuff over here yet. I would rather shell out the bucks (this time) and get a set that are rebuilt and pop tested correctly. At least I would still have a set on hand that I can take my time and rebuild.
