My USMC M37 has an oversize winch on it. I have no idea when or who put this on the vehicle, but it clearly was not original equipment. The unit has a label on indicating GAR WOOD as the manufacturer with a supply number of MS-51352-1. Does anyone have any information on this? I was told it had a pulling capacity of 20000lb and based on its large size I think that might be true. Why someone put something this big on an M37 is unknown, must have been what was available at the time.

It needs to go before you bend your frame horns. Supposed to have a Braden LU4. They are a bit pricy.
