I think it is from Police Academy... but seems it was used in another flick - possibly war-themed, but it's too early in the morning for me to recall.... I'll do some research later if my brain permits

Although the song on 23sec. was used in Police Academy, it originated in the film PATTON with George C. Scott as the infamous US General.
Here's a link if you'd like to listen.... scroll down to the "Patton - Main Title" or another rendition "Patton - Attack Theme" to hear a couple of different versions of it.

OK, I've done some Google-ing on this and here's the best link I've found with the STRIPES movie soundtrack....
Amazon.com : Music Sampler
It DOES NOT seem to be the same music as in the movies Patton and Police Academy, however, not all movie music is published on the movie's "soundtrack". I'll dig out my copy of STRIPES someday and see if this is the case.
