Hi folks. I use numerous freight brokers at work for handling all types of equipment and LTL (Less-than-truckload) freight. I was talking to one of my best ones this morning, and she indicated that she would be more than happy to help out any MV'ers who need anything transported. Her name is Sabra Souders with A+ Freight, and feel free to check with her. I know she will work hard to get your stuff moved and she is very competitive on price. She works hard to get all my stuff moved and she just moved a shipment from me to another SS member down south. I'm not trying to do a commercial for any particular broker, but I know she is friendly, helpful, and would be willing to work with those of us who are addicted to green iron. As with any broker, she will need to know the following:
1) Length, width, height, and weight of what you are transporting.
2) What method do you prefer. (flatbed, stepdeck, dry van, etc.)
3) Whether or not you need loading assistance (liftgate, etc)
4) Pickup and terminal zip code
5) Whether or not each location is commercial or residential. (Trust me, commercial is cheaper so try to have them drop off at a commercial address with loading facilities, forklifts, etc)
6) Timeframe for shipping
7) Special accomodations (military base, appointments, etc)
Feel free to email her at sabra@aplusfreight.com
