Open Cockpit - Your chance to play pilot for the day. Climb into the cockpits of 10 aircraft including the Corsair, the F-100 Super Sabre, the Huey helicopter and more. There will be a special presentation at 1:00 p.m. by Ed Buckbee who has been involved with America's Space Program since 1959. He will talk about NASA's programs - past, present and future. He will have books for sale and to autograph. Additional craft activities for children and a food vendor will be on site all day. Reminder all cockpits close at 4:00 p.m.

Usually a popular event, a chance to get some "stick time" in some rare aircraft. I used to volunteer at NEAM and did many of these. Looks like the weather will be rotten, so this is a good way to spend a rainy, raw Sunday.
