I know I'm late to the thread, If you guys need questions answered real time, PM me a phone number and I'll call you.
Since this will be my first time for a SS rally, y'all usually meet together or park together in the same area or does everybody kind of just do their own thing?

And yes that is a pond and yes, get drunk enough and you may end up there. Our tent fly ended up in there last year during a high wind event. But at least I didn't lose another door on my truck.....

I don't wanna know how you lost your truck door 😅, but I rarely drink and when I do, it's one maybe two and I'm done. I'm just naturally stupid so I don't need any help there 🤣🤷

We had very bad straight line winds one year. I was with my 2004 Dodge 1500 up close to the Hilton and I could see it coming across the pond and up the hill but I could get the door closed in time. The wind bent it all the way to the headlight on the driver's side.

Naturally the door no longer functioned so I had to tie it with rope running across the inside and I took the ATV (in bed), a 28 foot travel trailer and the cat and went home. That is why that truck is called the "Winged Dodge".
