I've been told if you own a Deuce this is the place to be, so here I am. I bought the old girl just over a year ago and it is a fine example of never go on ebay after a few drinks. Anyway it was 330 mile away and hadn't run for a while so I got the train headed up north with a pocket full of cash and drove it home.
It's a early non turbo with 13k on the clock and goes well, the back is fitted out as a camper / bedsit complete with central heating, fridge, tv, mp3 music system, running water, cooker, solar panels etc.
Everything works as it should on the truck it's soon to be painted in its' original camo ppaint. I also have an original trailer with it. Cheers.

I'll take a few shots from inside when it comes back, a mate of mine has borrowed it for the week for a show (in exchange for a full service, seemed fair to me).

That is an amazing good looking truck, good score & welcome to the madness, it is not curable, but treatable! Again, welcome from Florida in the US!
The ONLY known TREATMENT requires buying another truck, then another truck, then another truck, on and on.

Welcome from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Very nice looking rig. Can't wait to see photos of the inside. Would make a great portable pub!!

Welcome aboard, (to the) Site Hobby friendships and events to come. I remember that truck from when it came up for sale, and thought it (then) to be an EXCELLENT vehicle indeed, unusual to have the (working) winch. I like the "potty" stove on the front (still do). Pictures of the interior asap please, See you At War and Peace?...Ya' can't beat a nice camper with ALL the trimmings.

Congrats on a very nice looking Deuce, it sounds very well setup! What type shelter is on the rear?

The rear is a British army radio body, fits perfect and has good headroom in the back (I'm 6'4"). I'm just about to fit the radio mast (Clarke scam 12) and finish off the solar water heating then it's all turning camo.

Is that middle one yours? I think I phoned up about it and was going to buy it if the one I've got was a clunker when I viewed, but it turned out to be a gem.
