Hello all;

I'm a CUCV fan (not owner, yet...) and I am a big time cross-referencer/swapper for parts into civilian K5s or Jimmys...

I have a 91 (last model year for full size Blazer/Jimmys) Jimmy, used to be a university geology truck...

Big time DIY mechanic, with a lot of tricks up my sleeve in case things go wrong...

Rust eats the steel up here, so it's rare to find full-sizers or CUCVs up this far - I'm driving mine, and I know of one (!) other person with a CUCV in running condition...

I stumbled upon this thread while doing research for repairs on my Jimmy, I am impressed with the amount of knowledge here so far!
