The tongue weight (and total weight) on these trailers will be a bit much for a dakota... you might want to add extra springs and drive ! really ! carefully as your braking distance will be significantly longer. I'm weighing (ha ha) my options (extra leaf springs, maybe air shocks or bags). Also get yourself a cheap set of magnetic trailer lights from Harbor Freight (or Napa/Pep Boys/etc.).
