Help - M998 Won't start (older 998 non turbo)

Driving along & it just stopped
Got it going & it ran for 5 min and would not start after that.
Will not kick over with ether.
What next?

Check fuel delivery to the injectors buy cracking open the line to one of the injectors and crank. Look for fuel to be forced out. If no fuel, then check fuel filter. Then check to make sure the IP 24vdc solenoid is geting power or it died or your mechanical pump died. To check the mechanical pump, remove line to filter and crank. If fuel is forced out then pump okay. I have to ask: you do have fuel in the tank right and a clean, new filter, drain sediment out of filter housing?

After it wouldn't start more fuel was put in.
Will check & drain the fuel filter.

You might have a clogged fuel tank vent line. Have you tried starting and driving it with the fuel cap off?
