Anyone ever look at putting a Detroit 92 Series 8 into a M923 truck?

Saw one in a 809 series truck one time so it should fit the 939series truck fine. Well maybe check the width the side panels wouldn't close because the valvecovers stuck out to far. :what:

Would LOVE to see that swap. I sold my Silver 92 so it looks like I'll be keeping the 6CTA for a while...so I'm out.

Don't even waste your time, if you want Detroit go 60 series, want a direct/more power swap cummins 400 big cam I-III, 8v92 requires gearing and power transfer your 654 Allison is out of the question, you go HT Allison series your adding close to 2000lbs in drivetrain weight
