A member on here put a classified ad about wheel centers, for $80, that allow HEMTT rims to be ran on a deuce. Has anyone actually purchased any? I have been mailing this individual for a week and have gotten no response. Is there anyone else out there making these. I need 4 to complete this bobber and sell it. Then I will need 12 more. I wish I had a machine shop to meet the needs of the hunderds of lots of HEMTT wheels that were sold that to deuce owners like myself who were waiting for this quick fix. Thanks.

It's not a quick fix, guys, it's the right fix.

The plate with the deuce bolt circle is an intermediary plate. The outer half of the HEMTT wheel still needs to be taken to a machine shop so the center can be machined out of it.

I'm working on a similar idea, but instead of being a flat plate, it'll be a bowl to correct the wheel offset. So far, what I'm finding out is that it would be about as much to just re-stamp the outer half with the offset I want than to stamp an intermediate plate. I just don't know if the market warrants it, or if enough HEMTT wheels are scattered around (read: not in one person's hands who holds the key to this operation) to make it worthwhile.

If you don't mind the offset issue, go with the plate as it's much more affordable, but a reminder: it's not quick.

I have been out for a few days, making other things, shop busy......

I have been working on plates also......

the plate/offset is not an issue, deep dish out for the rears, and dish in for the fronts, i am looking at a way to make a plate more affordable to manufacture, the centers can be cut out with any cnc type mil, a lathe, or whatever other way a person could think of

I pulled the plates for sale because of the cost, i made a few, some went out, and 6 went onto my wheels that i cut.... those will go on my truck as soon as i get tires, unless someone snags them first

the first plates cost me a bundle to make, i had the price nailed down cheaper and then i was surprised when i seen the final cost on the second batch....

stay tuned, i am working on them, as well as some other things, and doing a revamp of the site, it crashed.... as well, busy busy busy

Dear avengeusa,

I recently purchased one of your alternator conversion kits for my M814. You shipped me a kit for a Deuce. I've sent no less than 10 emails to you to get this corrected. Your website is down, ok; but why aren't you answering emails sent through eBay, on the active ad for an alternator kit?

Trust I get busy, but try $25/day for my truck taking up a shop space for the wrong alternator kit sold.

Please respond. Please help. For all to see, go to this link to see what you shipped to me:

Wrong Alternator

Please email me at joe@czarnik.net.

Thanks,

Joe

Thanks Joe for bringing this to light. I was contemplating sending money for wheel centers because I am a trusting person . I think, I will look else where to solve this wheel problem.

I am sorry for the confusion....

My site has crashed, i am changing servers and recovering lost stuff, i am also not gertting any of my emails, i have a mess on my hands.....

my alternate email is avenegusa@yahoo.com email me there please until i get this whole mess resolved

The kits i make and sell are replacements for the mil units, they are not a military unit, as in identical to the one you removed from the vehicle!

I will be emailing you, if you see this post feel free to call me anytime at 734-682-5107, leave a message and i will return your call

The alternator you have been sent will work, it has been adapted to fit the engines in the deuce as well as 5 ton multifuel trucks, it has also been used on the cummins powered trucks with no issues
