In May of '08, you may remember that DLawbrey had helped me fix the bearings on my deuce on the side of the road in the rain......
One of the caveats about that was it was supposed to be a temporary fix until I got the deuce home......
Fast forward to May '09......
The same bearings fail. I couldn't understand it, DLawbrey couldn't understand it, Marchplumber, Littlebob, Fodo and more couldn't understand it......
Dennis and I tore it down today and guess what....... I dropped the ball on following up on the repair and finish it by putting new seals on the hub......

I take complete responsibility, I won't even offer excuses (although I can think of about 15 GREAT ones!). Because I didn't follow up, I missed the inagural Louisiana S/S rally and ALL of the summer driving time.....
Lesson here.... FOLLOW UP!
(Needless to say there are now brand new bearings, races AND seals in there.
