Hitting the road in the 5 ton. Taking a solo weekend to camp/decompress.

Looking for a place within 250-300 miles of Alexandria, La to primitive camp/reconnect with my inner Neanderthal.

Any suggestions?

Look at Nibletts Bluff Park in Vinton. On the Sabine. We used to convoy out from Houston to go camping there.
