What year did the HMMWV Parking brake change from a single disc on the drive line to the two rear calibers? Were the commercial H1's the same?

Late 80’s. Back in the day, soldiers would routinely forget to release the disc style parking brake, and at night you would know it from the orange glow coming from under the truck.
