Hole in transfer case

I replaced the fluid in the transfer case. Added 5 quarts. Now there is a leak coming from a small hole at the top just below the (what i believe to be) the speedometer cable. The hole looks factory but I dont know Any suggestions?

Looks like you are missing the clamp that holds the adapter in and the hole is for the bolt that holds the clamp.

Yeah you are definitely missing the clamp/tab or whatever the technical name is for the part that holds the speedo gear adapter in the transfer case. That should be an easy junkyard part to find if you don't have one.

do you need one ? i can mail one on monday. I just took my 208 of my truck so i have a spare with bolt.

IF anyone knows or knows where to find the size of the bolt that fits that hole that would help me out greatly and while on the subject of bolts the same info for the four that hold the front drive to the to the transfer.
