I got my water chill home and have been looking it over. Seen that the fuel line looks like it goes into a on board fuel tank , but fill opening:???:.

Then looking at the diagram on the side it shows the fuel line running thought a heat ex-changer. WTF gas and potable together????

Is it just me or does this seem like a dumb idea??

I don't know about the chiller, but I picked up an immersion heater, NOS for a reasonable price of the starting bid. Recovery is tomorrow morning early. Good luck with your chiller..........gassy tasting water, don't know about that!

Do they really use the immersion heaters for potable water? I thought they used them to heat the barrels for cleaning dishes, and for showering and whatnot.

I wonder what they do with the buffalos in arctic conditions. Why don't they turn to solid blocks of ice? Or are they just not used in those conditions.

There is a mount to use the immersion heat in the water buffalos mostly to keep it from turning into a block of ice. Most of the time the immersion heater is use for all the thing you listed above.

They even made a special manhole cover for it to keep water in and dirt out when you mounted it.
