How to seal x doors to b pillar?

So I have a soft top and x-doors and the frag 5 door seals. It all seems to work pretty well, no rain gets in through the top, and most of the time rain doesn't come through the gaps but sound does.

I had the am tech hard top for a while and the extra space on that allowed the door to seal on the b pillar, but now there is about a 1/4" gap on it.
Has anyone solved this?

I have not done it yet, but I figured a small triangular piece of sheet metal or Al, secured to the B-pillar jam would work.
