How to widen message panel in PM replies?

I understand how to widen the articles in the forum posts by clicking on the double arrows to the left of the posts at the top, but
I am at a loss as to how to widen the replies I get to my PM's.
Right now I have a reply that is only a single character wide which is a wee bit difficult to read.

How many quotes are in that PM? I see 8 or 9 I believe. Plus it looks like you've got your browser zoomed way in. Try Crtl + mouse scroll to zoom out. (Or Ctrl and the - key if you only have a keyboard.)

Thanks a bunch, I figured it was probably operator error, and it was.
ctrl - fixed it...Now where did I put my magnifying glasses and where is the computer............
