Hydraulic fluid reservoir

I have a new to me 95 LMTV Airdrop model. There is no external hydraulic fluid reservoir beside the air tanks. Can someone coach me up on where the fluid reservoir is and where do you check the fluid.

Thanks, I was raising my cab and the pump looked like it was puffing out faint smoke so I want to check the fluid level.

what hydraulic fluid is best ?

The specified fluid is MIL-PRF-5606H. It is aviation hydraulic fluid. Manufactured by several companies. I use the one made by Shell Oil.
