Hydraulic pump replacement - deleted the controller

Hey guys, I’m still working on my hydraulic issue and have decided to put in Ron’s pump solution as my fix (partially inspired by the work, Invictus is doing to his build 👍). I have deleted the tire lift and have deleted the controller. I’m having one big problem in that I can’t find where to plug the airline that supplied air to the controller. I thought it would be at the aux tank, but as I follow the airline, it goes backwards toward the back axles. I was curious if anyone knows where I need to cap the airline that goes to the hydraulic controller on a 1085 A1R? My air tank set up is different than the video that Ron put together.

I capped mine in the back.
It’s a check valve or something that prevents the air over hydraulic from working when the parking brake is not set. Safety thing.

I just traced all the way to the back. Grabbed a plug from Home Depot and decided I’ll mess with the rest. Later. If ever. It’s deleted.

Well it is probably on the crossmember where most of the brake components are located Above the rear axles. There is a 2way check valve there that combines the primary and secondary service tanks to feed the anti compound valve which is a relay that provides air tot he park springs. The anti compound is the upper relay valve and they may have tapped the remote air control valve off of the outlet port on the anti compound relay. This makes sense as both the combined primary and secondary air source and park air from the dash control would be available at this location. Instead of adding an additional 2way and park air line at the service tanks like they did on the A0(parts I removed in the video you watched.

Hey guys, quick update – traced the airline all the way back to the furthest back axle. There were two check valves similar to the one that Ron is highlighting above and the line hooked into the top switch which has now been plugged. All is good and ready to hook up the hydraulics. Small wins!
