I’m Back, I’m Bad, & I NEED HELP! In Sept. 08

Out of the shadows pops Ugg. Yes, I still lurk & have PM'd folk from time to time. No, I haven't gotten rid of the Beast (ultimate LAST resort), & No, we haven't lost Uggville yet. Somehow, we've managed to keep the wolves from the door & keep the door too, & No, I'm not asking for hand-outs either.

The help I am asking for is for those of you that live in or near the Chicago Metro Area. I have been working with a local town near to me that has an airshow. My thoughts are, what better to work in conjunction with an airshow (that's primary interest is WW II warbirds) is to have a MV show?

This is a small, one day event. The show is from 10 AM until 5 PM on Sept 6th of this year. What I need is people in this area BRING their MV's to this show. If ya bring an MV & are a vendor too, that's okay, vend away.

I NEED COMMITMENT! If interested and can help me out, please PM me as soon as possible & I will fill in the details & location. What I NEED to do is to demonstrate to this town that there are in fact the MV's out there, and that the general public WILL also be interested. The real goal is to organize for a real, bigger show for 2009.

Yep, still kicking. Nope, still got issues but so what. Life goes on & I don't quit. My kid will crap when he finds out. Now, should I put ya down for being at that show in Sept?

Ugg...you are onto something good. Our group has been doing the Columbus, Georgia Airshow for 9 years now. Each year it gets bigger and better. The staff of the airshow comes to us and asks for our assistance, even offering fuel money etc. This year they treated us like kings and provided food, donuts access to the VIP areas etc.

These MV's are an excellent addition to the airshow.I think the unofficial headcount this year was nearly 12,000 people between Saturday and Sunday (and this is a small town). Folks just love to see our stuff and it is an excellent filler when the planes are not up.
