Hey guys, I saw this 10 ton tractor the other day in Cumming GA and took some pics.

It's been sitting there for about a week. The inside is a mess, no passenger seat and junk where it used to be. I'm almost 6 feet tall and I my eyes could only look directly at the headlights...it's big!! Those tires a massive too. The condition is best described as "used", there is consrtuction going on around the area, so I guess it is still earning its keep. No idea what's under the hood but both exhausts exit ahead of the first rear tire.

Yes, that would be a 10 Ton

It always amazes me how big those things are... and you have no idea until you are in front of one in person no matter how many pics you see of them.

Later,

Here are the rest of the pics - I had more than I thought.

Didn't see a dash plate stating a model or contract number. How much would 10 tires for this beast cost? Those look pretty new.....

It's on GA Hwy 20 heading east (towards Gwinnett) about a mile or so from Hwy 400. It's just past the area where Ga 20 narrows down from 4 lanes to two.

I didn't see a for sale sign on it, I'm assuming it's being used in the area. I didn't see a tag on it though.

bulldog_mack13 - Buy it? Heck man....I didn't even know what it was!!!!

Hope it's still there!!

I saw it on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, but didn't have camera. I took these on Thanksgiving and got them developed today. It hasn't moved since the first time I saw it.

I just couldn't believe how big it is....

looks like it's being used on a very regular basis from the look of the 5th wheel plate. I doubt that it's for sale as whoever is putting her to good use couldn't possibly replace it for whatever you give them for it.

jwaller.....I think you're right, it's being used. The 5th wheel is greased up and the tires look pretty new. It hasn't been there long, maybe two weeks?, so somebody is still using it to pull trailers.

Alex400: I was just thinking that by now it may have had an engine change. I couldn't see much of the engine compartment from where I was standing.

Perhaps next time I'll raise the hood for a real quick peek.....

I am from Cumming and have seen that truck several times over the years...

The last time I saw it it was earning its keep dragging the biggest grinder/mulcher I have ever seen.
