I have two oil leaks on my 6.5L (non turbo) HMMWV oil pan.

Hello all,

I have searched SS to see if anyone has had dual oil leaks in the front and rear of the oil pan. I recently had the oil pan replaced on my 2006 M1097R1 to see if that would fix the issue. I'm starting to think that maybe the front and rear crankcase seals are bad?

Front of the engine around the water pump looks pretty dry until you get to the harmonic balancer. Sides of the engine look dry. I just had the fuel filter replaced, so the valley on top of the engine has what is most likely diesel residue in it. Back of the engine where the fly wheel attaches is hard to see, but the fly wheel itself looks dry.

Has anyone else in the HWWV forum had a similar issue and been able to fix the leaks? Is there anything else that could be contributing to the leak that I am missing?

I appreciate any help and thank you!
