Anybody know what this mystery item is in the bed?

I’m pretty sure that is a tool rack that mounts to the bottom of the vehicle and holds an ax, shovel, etc. usually missing too.

Pretty cool. Looks like I don’t have the mounts or maybe it’s for a different bumper.

Many Humvees have that pioneer rack mounted on top of the hood.
A lot of other vehicles just have them tossed inside loose somewhere.

They mount underneath the truck with a bracket on rear diff bracket and 2 other brackets on bumper. Different brackets for old style bumper or air drop bumper mounting support bracket.

The gmv special ops trucks have a rare hood mount for the same tools plus sledgehammer.
