Images from Facebook

Hello, I posted a thread in the 5Ton section & tried linking the photos from Facebook using the "Insert Image" button. Every time I got a error message so I just put them in as links. Is the FB link not allowed or any reason it won't work?

Also, I posted in the 5Ton & Up section & after the fact see that there is a 5Ton Mod section that it might fit better into. Sorry, newbie mistake. Please move if someone would like. It's titled "Dual Stacks on a M939A2". Thanks

FB photo's do not work here and can't kick in a security lockout! Just rename your files so they do not start with FB of have that anywhere in the name! I renamed mine and the work fine!

We ask that people upload images directly. To help facilitate that, we have setup any remotely hosted images to display only as a link. Mainly to get people to want their images to actually show up in their posts. Anyhow, looking at your links, I see why it would have failed if you were trying to upload them from a link. The website is looking for website.com/file.jpg kind of link. It looks like your links were conditional. website.com/file.jpg=displaywiththesesettings. The remote file grabber is "dumb". It's only going to look for whatever file at the end of the link. Adding the arguments at the end trips it up.
