Finally installed rebuilt IP and what a difference in the way it runs. You can actually talk at idle to passengers.
The only issue I have is that at idle the muffler shield rattles like crazy. Could the idle be too low now? Or is it normal for a little rattling? What is normal idle rpm?

I think they all rattle. I loosened up the clamp on the pipe comes out of the muffler and I got a big pry bar and put it between the muffler and the heat shield and got pretty aggressive and then I tapped on the clamp to put a little pressure pulling away from the heat shield. It doesn’t rattle anymore
