Instrument Lights

The instrument panel lights are quite dim. Instead of drilling out the color filter or adding more I think it would be cool to put lights in the gauges themselves. I have no idea how this would be done or if it's even possible. I personally love the red glow of the instrument panel I just want it to be inside the instruments themselves. Anyone ever try something like this?

Feel free to do some searching, lots of discussion about it here. The gauges are sealed, so it is not advisable to put lights IN them. Have you pulled the gauge panel and cleaned the dirt off the gauge windows? That helps a lot.

Is your three lever switch in DIM or BRIGHT position?

Many guys will use the small led rope and wrap them around the instruments.
