instrument panel

turned the head lights on in my 09 and both my blinkers lit up. if i turned the blinker on the opposite one would flash in the dash
also my fuel gauge went to empty. if i turn the dimmer switch all the way down to shut the dash lights off it all works fine.

kinda sounds like a bad ground for the dash.
does anybody know were they are located

If it's like the pickups, it's up near the parking brake, under the dash. Should be a 6 prong deal, probably well rusted.
