You probably have much greater issues...

I would flush the whole cooling system and make sure the clutch fan functions properly and comes on at the proper engine temp.

Definitely time for a full flush. Might want to pressure check whole system too.

Sorry, I was being a little sarcastic. Yes, We did flush it, everything seems to be working ok, fan clutch comes on, etc. We ran the truck for about an hour the other day and she stayed cool the whole time. I just really couldn't believe the amount of sediment in there. We also installed a battery cutoff switch for anti theft and to prevent someone leaving the lights on and draining the battery. Several people will be driving so we have to keep it simple. I'll post pics later.

My sight glasses were both pretty milky but my coolant was new looking. I flushed it several times and then removed and cleaned the glasses. Not easy as there is a stainless backing plate. Small wire with a gun cleaning patch and plenty of patience.
