Some of your transport guys might not know about a guy
named Jake McNeice. Jake is a veteran of the 506th PIR
with the 101st Airborne, one of only two guys in his group
to have made four combat jumps during WW II.
Jake's story is contained in a book entitled "The Filthy
Thirteen."
If you'd like an opportunity to meet and listen to Jake
talk about his experiences, or purchase and have him
sign a copy of his book, make your way to the site of
The 2008 Oklahoma D-Day, in Wyandotte, Oklahoma
on Thursday, June 12th. Jake will be there that day
as well as again all day on Friday, June 13th.
For more information and directions, drop me a line or
give my offiice a call between 0600-1900 eastern time.
Sincerely,
