Agreed, stupidity. I have no issue with our troops blowing off some steam but not while purposely destroying equip and placing themselves in great danger. Like i want to pay that guys med bills for the rest of his life cause he just shattered his back when the truck landed.

I have seen this many times, but not on here. Only wish that they had showed the landing and the aftermath. Scoot is right I dont want to pay for a soildiers stupidy when they end up on life support.

I have seen the vid several times also. It is my understanding that the soldiers limped the A3 back to base and inadvertently left their camara in the truck which another soldier found, reviewed the footage, passed that on to their superiors and the perverbial hammer came down.......Like you all I don't mind our soldiers blowing off steam. God knows they need to. However being an idiot with equipment you don't technically own is not right.

That display was just an act of stupidity, as one of the many taxpayers who bought that truck for them I hope the hammer did fall on them. I'm all for blowing off a little steam now and again, but that was dumb and dangerous!!!
It is dumb but I have to say I would rather the truck be destoyed this way than given to the Iraq government or cut up and left in the desert. I have to admit my buddies and I did some similiar stuff in our youth. We were dumb too!

As we all know #### rolls downhill. I am sure once people higher on the totem pole found out what happened the world of #### those boys were in was pretty deep. Of course what they did was dumb. I am guilty of being young once and doing similarly dumb things. Who am I foolin'? I still do dumb stuff in the name of fun. It is better they did not get hurt. That way they were fully able to clean "the old man's" toilet for eternity.

We just had an airman steal a multimeter and an Air Force F-150, pawn the multimeter, go to the strip club in the truck on duty... he got caught speeding 80 in a 30 back to base. Turns out he bought black tar heroine and was out of his mind... Safe to say he is no longer working on 29.4 billion dollars worth or aircraft anymore... anywho...

On another note I know a guy that is stationed at Tinker. I haven't heard from him in a while so I am pretty sure he is deployed.

Haha Jollyroger, You wouldn't believe the stories that have happened here in the last year. One kid got Grand theft auto, 2 others had a mobile meth lab in the back of their car... Idiots!!!!!! Another kid went to the casino in uniform and got caught by our CMSGT who happened to be there... alot of people make army jokes but **** the Air Force has some winners!!
