Keyed Ignition For '66 AM Genera M185A3...l

I installed one of the keyed ignitions that are available from several sources on my M934 5-ton and I'm wondering if it's possible to install one on an early model Deuce? The keyed switch comes with 3 wires and feeling around under the dash it feels like the old push button switch has 2 wires. Has anybody installed a keyed ignition switch on their Deuce and if so, anything special to look out for?

Usually the keyed switch on a deuce just gives power to the push button so you can disable the button.
