I was wondering if an injection pump off of a 5 ton LDS465-1A would work on a LD465 engine. Would the fuel be turned up to much, the governed speed tag says 700/2600 so it looks like a direct bolt on replacement to me. Is there some reason this pump wouldn't work? Thanks for any info, James

The pump will work, but you will have to adjust fuel delivery. In order to move the LDT towards LDS power, you would also have to source the LDS intake valve train.

Believe you being in Va. you have state inspections so. Install a pyro and run the fuel down as much as needed after sticker run it back up.
