Lead paint?

I have my M1009 listed for sale on Craigslist. I'm asking $4,500 for it. A few days ago, some Richard Cranium offered me $1,000 because the truck has lead paint on it. Needless to say, I told him what he could do with his offer and I was not nice about it. Not only was he insulting but stupid.

Why are people so stupid? I don't recall lead being used in CARC paint. This isn't a house, it's a freaking vehicle!

What??? 1000$ extra because of the lead paint? I didn't know that lead was worth that much these days !

The CARC that was used is a standard polyurethane paint.

You should have said its worth your asking price because of the precious childhood memories it would bring him if he ate the lead paint chips, as he did as a child.
