Well my oil pressure runs at 28 when going down the highway with the motor at normal operating temp. I know that you can make adjustments to increase pressure just can't find it in the manuals.

Any other ideas?

Check the tm's again on the turbo side of block there is the oil pump check valves/ springs in a block looking thingy. Never done it but think there was a thread on removing and cleaning.

I would confirm your pressure with a mechanical gauge first. You may have the wrong gauge or sending unit(there are 2 of either).

Several threads on the oil pressure regulator.

28psi isnt all that bad either. I have moe than one engine that only makes 30psi at speed hot. I have others that hold 100psi hot. As long as your not below10ish at idle, your probably OK.

Technically, you can also shim the pump, but I don't think anyone does or needs to. test and diagnose your gauge first, then clean your regulator next. MAke sure your FDC is bypassed and you DO NOT have fuel in your oil. (pull your booster pump and remove the stop cable cover and visually check for fuel leakage.

rrrr, what TMs are you looking at?

Thanks for the TM reference, was having a hard time finding it. I'll clean up the oil regulator tomorrow and pull the springs and check length to make sure they are not worn.
My FDC has been disconnected and safety wired.

looks like my FDC is already bypassed and safety wired so this is not the cause.

The stop cable cover has been previously removed as indicated by the sealant. I wonder if the oil was changed as a result ? I'll be doing an oil change as well and am thinking about droping the pan and cleaning it out as well as the oil pickups.

Were's a good place to get oil pan gaskets ?

By bypassing this you remove the multifuel capability ?
No. The FDC basically adjusted the fuel stop to help keep the HP rating of the engine constant regardless of the fuel being used. The multifuel capability is a function of the engine design.
