I started to notice that I was losing brake fluid on the CUCV during my PMCS.
After looking at the lines, I looked at the rear brakes.
I popping off the drums. Both insides had cobwebs, but the driver's side was "wet."
I thought that I would have to rebuild my wheel cylinder but on closer inspection the cylinder was dry. How odd.
I disassembled the brakes and looked at each component closer. I checked (with out disassembling) the axel to see if the seal was shot. The area around it was dry. No clues.
I cleaned up both put some grease on the lugs and put it back together. I'll check the fronts later.

However, does anyone have an idea why it would get "wet" like this and not be coming from the cylinder nor the axle seal? (see photos)
