M101 A2 Trailer Question

Will the 20 inch wheels from deuce match up to the bolt pattern on a M101A2 Trailer? I found one I like but it sits a little low for the deuce and did not know if the wheel lug pattern is the same. If it is the bigger wheels and tire would raise the height. Does anyone know?

No, the lug pattern is eight lug, same as on the M1008/M1028 CUCVs.

Thanks for the info. I found a beautiful camo one today with a nice top for sale here in Georgia from a private party. The trailer has new tires and looks awesome and no rust but looks a little low for the deuce because of the smaller wheels and tires. I guess I will have to pass.

Jim, you want the M105A1 or A2. Uses the same wheels as the deuce.

Yeah - regardless of the wheels on a 101 trailer, it will always look small. The 105 is the one for a Deuce.

The M101 3/4 Ton trailer has 2 different style Tire and rims !! The M101 and M101A1 have the 16" rim which are the same as the old M37 3/4 Ton Dodge and the M101A2 have the surge brake setup and have the M1008 8 lug rims which are pulled by the M1008 Pickup , M1009 Blazers and Hummers !!

Don't be so quick to dismiss the smaller trailers behind a duece.
I tow an M101 CDN2, 1/4 ton trailer, without issue, and it looks good too. All that is needed, is a 2nd receiver mount to attach another pintle to accomodate the lower height.
