M101 Camper build Hello everyone so far here is the progress I have made so far on my frame of the M101. Removed the insanely huge and unnecessary axle and wheels and replaced with a 3500 LB axle which I may swap out for a 5K at a later date. I will be running electric brakes. Sticking with stock leaf springs but after flipping it over I am thinking I will move axle from under spring to over spring. Sold the pintle mount and f
assembly and will be using an adapter from Compact Camping Concepts https://compactcampingstore.com/products/m416-trailer-receiver-tube-tongue-retrofit-kit which is a receiver style mount to replace the pintle so I can run a Max Coupler from CU offroad. New greaseable leaf spring pin bolts installed and greased. Cleaning up the bed for some rustproofing underneath then hopefully this coming week I can mount the bed on the frame and start the hard-shell camper part.
